After a six-year hiatus, the Indonesian Furniture and Handicraft Industry Association (ASMINDO) is rekindling the spirit of creativity with the revival of the international furniture and craft exhibition, IFFINA (Indonesia Furniture & Design Expo 2023). This resurgence carries with it the hope of propelling the Indonesian furniture industry to new heights.
What is IFFINA ?
What exactly is IFFINA? IFFINA stands as a prestigious international-scale furniture exhibition, spearheaded by ASMINDO, a venerable institution that has been a pillar of the Indonesian furniture and craft community since its establishment in 1988. With 23 regional commissioners strategically positioned across the nation and a membership base that spans a wide spectrum of industrial enterprises, from large corporations to small-scale and micro-industries, ASMINDO boasts an influential presence in the industry.
This year, IFFINA unfurls its grandeur in Indonesia, featuring five prominent product categories: furniture, craft, project design, homeware, home fabric, and decorative & gifts. With the overarching tagline “The New Sourcing Circle in Asia,” IFFINA 2023 aspires to set trends within the Southeast Asian region as a pivotal second-circle furniture and craft exhibition.
Reviving Creativity and Craftsmanship: IFFINA 2023 – Indonesia’s Premier Furniture and Design Expo
The calendar is marked, and the location is set. ASMINDO is proud to host IFFINA 2023, the Indonesia Furniture and Design Expo, for the 10th time, scheduled for September 14-17 at ICE (Indonesia Convention & Exhibition) BSD, sprawling across six expansive halls. Anticipating around 10,000 attendees, this exhibition promises to be a spectacular showcase of innovation.
IFFINA is set to attract 400 distinguished furniture and craft companies, both local and international. The spotlight will be on their exceptional products. An astounding 90 percent of these participants hail from the heart of Indonesia. The support of three ministries—namely the Ministry of Industry (Kemenperin), Ministry of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises (Kemenkop UKM), and the Ministry of Trade (Kemendag)—along with the backing of Bank Indonesia (BI), further underscores the significance of IFFINA 2023.
For this year’s IFFINA event, Wisanka Indonesia proudly occupies Hall 3 Booth C11. We cover an impressive 126-square-meter area. We present our latest collections of indoor furniture, including dining sets, living sets, and modular sofas. Craftsmen meticulously create all of these exquisite pieces from the finest solid teak wood. We employ cutting-edge in-house production methods and top-tier furniture-making machinery in their creation.
